Fish & Wedges (no Fried)



Apakah anda termasuk penggemar Fish n Chips? tapi harus pantang makan-makanan yang digoreng atau mengandung minyak banyak. Tidak usah khawatir masih bisa di baked si fish and chips nya dan mudah sekali buatnya. Jangan kalah dengan anak-anak saya, karena menu ini mereka yang buat...

Liat deh wajah-wajah bahagia mereka karena bisa masakin makanan untuk mom n dadnya...ini wajah si sulung Ardella (13 tahun).

Yang ini wajah si bungsu Rehannah (10 tahun).

Fish & Chip ( no fried)

serves : 4 pax


Ingredients :
4 medium potatoes
2 tablespoon olive oil
4 small fish fillets
2 tbsp flour
1 egg
1/2 cup breadcrumbs
cooking-oil spray
a pinch of salt

How-To :

1. Heat up the oven 180'c -230'c (depending on the oven) we use high heat.

2. Peel the potatoes, cut them into 1.5 m chips. Put the chips into a bowl, mix together with the olive oil and salt. Then put into the baking dish and place it on the middle shelf in the oven and bake uncovered for 20 minutes or until turn to golden yellow. Stir once in a while using a wooden spoon.

3. Cut the fish fillet as you desire, put the flour, egg and breadcrumbs in 3 separate bowls. Toss 1 piece of fish in the flour then shake off the extra flour.

4. Using a fork, beat the egg until mix well. Dip the fish in the egg then let the extra egg run off. Toss the fish in the breadcrumbs.  Do the same thing for the rest  of the fish.

5. Lightly spray an oven tray with cooking oil spray. Put the fish on the tray and spray the fish with some cooking oil spray.

6. cook fish uncovered for 10 minutes or until cooked with golden yellow colour. To see if the fish is cooked, gently break 1 piece open with fork to see if it is a solid white colour inside.

7. Serve fish and chips with steam broccoli or other vegie.
